Verify that -(x+y) = (-x)+(-y), when x=-3/4 , y=-6/7

We have,

-(x+y) = (-x) + (-y)

Here, 
x = -3/4 and y = -6/7

Thus,
LHS = -{-3/4 + (-6/7)}

= 3/4 + 6/7

= (3×7 + 6×4)/28 [Taking LCM]

= 45/28

RHS = -x + (-y)

= -(-3/4) + -(-6/7)

= 3/4 + 6/7

= (3×7 + 6×4)/28 [Taking LCM]

= 45/28
