Hey there !!

Given that, x = 12 , y = –4 and z = 2

Now, we have to verify that x / ( y + z ) ≠ ( x / y ) + ( x / z )

Putting values of x , y and z

12 / ( –4 + 2 ) ≠ [ 12 / (–4) ] + ( 12 / 2 )

12 / ( –2) ≠ (–3) + 6

–6 ≠ 3

Hence, verified.

12÷(-4+2)=12÷-2=-6
(12÷-4)+(12÷2)=-3+6=3
6 not equal to 3
