Hey friend!

(x+y)+z=x+(y+z)

(2/3 + 7/8) + -3/5 = 2/3 + (7/8 + -3/5)

(2/3*8/8 + 7/8*3/3) -3/5 = 2/3 + (7/8*5/5 - 3/5*8/8)       {LCM of 8 and 3 is 24                                               => (16/24 + 21/24) - 3/5 = 2/3 + (35/40 - 24/40)                & of 5 and 8 is 40}

=> 37/24 - 3/5 = 2/3 + 11/40

=> 37/24*5/5 - 3/5*24/24 = 2/3*40/40 + 11/40*3/3    {LCM of 24 and 5 is 120

=> 185/120 - 72/120 = 80/120 + 33/120                        & of 40 and 3 is 120}

=> 117/120 = 117/120

LHS=RHS

Hence Verified

Hope it helps you!
