Step-by-step explanation:

(x+y)+z=x+(y+z)

now , putting the value of x,y&z

(-2/3+7/8)+(-3/5)=-2/3+{7/8+(-3/5)}

{ (-16+21)/24}-3/5= -2/3+{(35-24)/40}

5/24-3/5= -2/3+11/40

(25-72)/120=(-80+33)/120

-47/120= -47/120

As,now the LHS & RHS is same so, the given espresstion is proved
