Answer:

It is given that,

a = 3/4, b = -1/2, c = -7/5

LHS = a × ( b × c )

= 3/4 × [(-1/2 ) × (-7/5)]

= 3/4 × (7/10)

= ( 3 × 7 )/ ( 4 × 10 ) X X

= 21/40 ----(1)

RHS = (a × b ) x c

= [ 3/4 × (-1/2) ] × (-7/5)

= [-3/8 ] × (-7/5 )

= (3x7) / (8 x 5)

= 21/40 -----(2)

From (1) and (2),

LHS = RHS

a × ( b × c ) = (a × b ) × c

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

[(- 3/8).4/5] (-20/21)=(- 3/8)[4/5 (-20/21)]

-3/10 (-20/21) = (- 3/8)(-16/21)

2/7 = 2/7

(a x b) xc = ax (bx c)
