Given:

[\frac{5}{4} + \frac{-1}{2} ]+ \frac{-3}{2}  = \frac{-5}{4}+[\frac{-1}{2}+\frac{-3}{2}]

To Find:

L.H.S = R.H.S

Solution:

L.H.S = \frac{5}{4}-\frac{1}{2}+(\frac{-3}{4})     R.H.S = \frac{5}{4}+(\frac{-1}{2})+(\frac{-3}{2})

⇒ 5 - 2 + (\frac{-6}{4}) = 5 + (-2) + (\frac{-6}{4})

⇒ 3 + (\frac{-6}{4}) = 3 + (\frac{-3}{4})

\frac{-3}{4} = \frac{-3}{4}

Therefore, L.H.S = R.H.S.
