RHS = [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]
First of all taking LHS,
= (-7) x [(-8) + 9]
= (-7) x [-8 + 9]
= (-7) x (1)
= -7
now,
Taking RHS,
= [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]
= [ 56] + [-63]
= 56 - 63
= -7
∴ So here LHS = RHS i.e, (-7) x [(-8) + 9] = [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]
hence proved
