SOLUTION :

Given equations are i) (-25) x [(-7) + (-15)] = [(-25) x (-7)] + [(-25) x (-15)]

ii) (-7) x [(-8) + 9] = [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]

Now verify the given equations.

i) (-25) x [(-7) + (-15)]=[(-25) x (-7)] + [(-25) x (-15)]

LHS  (-25) x [(-7) + (-15)]

=(-25)\times [-22]

(-25) x [ (-7) + (-15)] =550=LHS

RHS  [(-25) x (-7)] + [(-25) x (-15)]

=175+375

[(-25) x (-7)] + [(-25) x (-15)]=550=RHS

∴ LHS=RHS

∴ (-25) x [(-7) + (-15)]= [(-25) x (-7)] + [(-25) x (-15)]  is verified.

ii) (-7) x [(-8) + 9] = [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]

Taking LHS (-7) x [(-8) + 9]

=(-7)\times (1)

(-7) x [(-8) + 9]=-7=LHS

Now RHS [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]

=(56)+(-63)

=-7

[-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]=-7=RHS

∴ LHS=RHS

∴ (-7) x [(-8) + 9] = [-7 x (-8)] + [(-7) x 9]
