Total surface area = 2 ( l b + b h + h l )

Volume of Cuboid = l × b × h.

We know that cuboid that 6 faces , 8 vertex and 12 edges.

Let length of cuboid be l , breadth b , and height h units.

So for Lateral Surface Area four side only.

Lateral Surface Area = l h + h b + l h + b h

Lateral Surface Area = 2 h l  + 2 b h

Lateral Surface Area = 2 h ( l + b )

Similarily for six side

Total surface area = l b + b h + h l + b l + h b + h l

Total surface area = 2 l b + 2 b h + 2 l h

Total surface area = 2 ( l b + b h + h l )

For volume ( It is capacity so maximum length , breadth and height )

Volume of Cuboid = length × breadth × height

Volume of Cuboid = l × b × h.
