a(b + c) = ab + ac

This property is called commutative property......

a(b + c) = ab + ac

First take the LHS side,

a(b + c)

(-5/2){-2+(-11/3)}

(-5/2)(-17/3)

85/6

Next take the RHS side,

ab + ac

(-5/2)(-2) + (-5/2)(-11/3)

10/2 + 55/6

30/6 + 55/6

85/6

Here, LHS and RHS are equal

Hence Proved.........
