Solution :
Given a = 4 , b = 3/7 , c = 5/11
LHS = a × ( b × c )
= 4 × ( 3/7 × 5/11 )
= 4 × 15/77
= 60/77 ----( 1 )
RHS = ( a × b ) × c
= ( 4 × 3/7 ) × 5/11
= 12/7 × 5/11
= 60/77 ---( 2 )
From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ),
LHS = RHS
Therefore ,
a × ( b × c ) = ( a × b ) × c
