Solution:

a * ( b * c)  = (a * b ) * c  

a = 2/3  , b = -3/7   c = - 1/2

LHS

=  a * ( b * c)  

= (2/3) * ( (-3/7) * (-1/2) )

= (2/3) * ( 3/14)

=  2/14

= 1/7

RHS

=  (a * b ) * c  

= ( (2/3) * (-3/7) ) * (-1/2)

= (-2/7) * (-1/2)

= 1/7

LHS = RHS

Hence verified

a * ( b * c)  = (a * b ) * c
