Answer:

If X = -3

Y = 12

Z = -5

Step-by-step explanation:

X × (Y + Z) = X × Y + X × Z

= -3 × (12 + -5) = -3 × 12 + -3 × -5

Question:-

Verify the property : X × (Y + Z) = X × Y + X × Z by taking

X= −37,

Y= 1213,

Z= −56

Verification :-

L.H.S. = X × (Y + Z)

= -37 × { 1213+(-56)}

= -37 × (1213 -56)

= -37 × 1157

= -42890

R.H.S. = X × Y + X × Z

= (-37) × 1213 + (-37) × (-56)

= -44881 + 2072

= -42809

So, L .H.S. = R.H.S.

Therefore , X × (Y + Z) = X × Y + X × Z
