Putting x=1 , y= -1 /2, z= 1/4

x×(y×z) = 1×{(-1/2)×1/4}

= 1×(-1/8)= -1/8

RHS= (x×y)×z

Putting x=1 , y= -1 /2, z= 1/4

(x×y)×z = {1×(-1/2)}×1/4

= (-1/2)×1/4

= -1/8

LHS = RHS
