a right circular cylinder can be made out of a rectangular sheet by folding it along one side in a cylindrical shape.then if the sheet is folded along the length of rect. then length with be equal to the circumference of the base of cyl. that is l=2πr. breadth of the sheet will be the height of cyl. that is b=h. now curved surface area of the cyl. will be equal to the area of rectangular sheet . that is CSA=l×b=2πr×h=2πrh.....proved
