Solution

L.H.S. = x + y

= 5/7 + (-3)/2

= 10 - 21/14

= -11/14

R.H.S. = y + x

= -3/2 + 5/7

= -21 + 10/14

= -11/14

L.H.S. = R.H.S.

yes x+ y= y+x because of the associative property of adding number
either u add X variable first or y variable first answer remains same..
therefore 5/7+(-3/2)=-3/2+5/7.
