Answer:-

8,15,17 are not a Pythagorea triplet.

Explanation:-

To show : The triplet (8,15,17) is Pythagorean triplet ?

Solution :

Pythagorean triplet defined as

\sf{H^{2}=P^{2}+B^{2}}

  • H is the largest side
  • H=8 , B=6 and P=7

Substitute in the formula,

8^2=7^2+6^2

64=49+36

64=85

64 is not equal to 85

LHS≠RHS

∴ It dissatisfy the Pythagorean triplet.
