Verify whether the following are zeroes of the polynomial, indicated against them.
(i) p(y)=qy+r , y=-r/q
(ii) p(x) = 5x^2-3 , x=3/√5 and -1/√5
pls give correct answer
then will mark brailiest
if answer is correct then only will mark

  1. p(y)=by putting y=-r/q

we get

q×-r/q+r=0

q will cancel

so -r/q is the zeros of the polynomial

2) p(x)= by putting x=3/√5

we get

5×(3/√5)^2-3=9-3=6

so 3/√5 is not the zeros of the polynomial

by putting x=-1/√5

we get

5×(-1/√5)^2-3=1-3=-2

so -1/√5 is not the zeros of the polynomial

hope it helps you ✌✅✅✅
