Solution :-

we know that, In Harmonic Progression (HP) series ,

• The reciprocal of numbers must be in AP .
• or we can say that, common difference is same .

so,

→ Reciprocal of 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/24 = 3 , 6 , 12 and 24 .

now, checking common difference,

→ a2 - a1 = a3 - a2 = a4 - a3

→ 6 - 3 = 12 - 6 = 24 - 12

→ 3 ≠ 6 ≠ 12 .

therefore, we can conclude that, given sequence are not in HP .
