p(x+1)(x-2)=(2+1)(2-2) = 3×0 =0. hence ,verified. p(x+1)(x-1) =(-1/2+1)(-1/2-2). =1/2×-5/2 = -5/4 -1/2 is not a zero of (x+1)(x-2). p(x+1)(x-2) = (0+1)(0-2). = 1×-2 =-2. 0 is not a zero of (x+1)(x-2)
