–(–x) = x

i)x = −7/9

let's take -(-x) as LHS

x as RHS

first we will do LHS

-(-x)= -(-7/9)

which is equal to 7/9

Hence,LHS=RHS

-(-7/9)= 7/9

Therefore it is proof that -(-x)= x

i)x = −13/-15

LHS

-(-x)= -(13/-15) or -(- -13/15)

which is equal to -13/15

Hence, LHS=RHS

-(-7/9)= 7/9

Therefore it is proof that -(-x)= x
