★Given:-

• x+y = y+x
• x = 5
• y = 3/2

★Proof:-

L.H.S = x+y

Substituting the given values of x & y in LHS,

⇒ x + y

⇒ 5 + 3/2

⇒ 10 + 3/2

⇒ 13/2

∴x+y = 13/2

RHS = y+x

Substituting the values of x&y in RHS,

⇒ y + x

⇒ 3/2 + 5

⇒ 3+10/2

⇒ 13/2

∴y + x = 13/2

We can see,

→ x+y = y+x = 13/2

Therefore,

→x+y = y+x

Hence proved !
