Answer:

-33/182

Step-by-step explanation:

3/13*-2/7 + 3/13*-1/2

-6/91 + -3/26

-12-21/182

-33/182

Answer:

-33/182

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN -- x = 3/13

y = -2/7

z = -1/2

PROVE -- x × ( y+z ) = x × y + x × z

first we take LHS and put the value of x,y,z

x× ( y+z ) = 3/13 ( -2/7 + (-1/2) )

= 3/13 ( -2/7 - 1/2 )

= 3/13 ( -2×2/7×2 - 1×7/2×7 )

= 3/13 ( -4/14 - 7/14 )

= 3/13 × ( -4-7 )/14

= 3/13 × -11/14

x× ( y+z ) = -33/182. ---------(1)

Now we take RHS and put the value of x,y,z--

x×y + x×z = 3/13× (-2/7) + 3/13× (-1/2 )

= -6/19 - 3/26

= (-6×2)/(19×2) - (3×7)/(26×7)

= -12/182 - 21/182

= (-12 - 21)/182

x×y + x×z = -33/182. ------------(2)

from equation (1) and equation (2)--

( y+z) = y + z
