Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

L.H.S = x +[y+z] for x = - 1/2, y= 2/5 and z= - 1/3

= x +[y+z] = - 1/2 + [2/5+(- 1/3) ]

Take LCM of 5 and 3 = 15

= - 1/2 + ( 6 - 5/15)

= - 1/2 + 1/15 =  (-15 + 2) /30 = -13/30

R.H.S = [ x+y]+z = [- 1/2 + 2/5 ]+ (- 1/3)

= (-5+4/10) + (-1/3)

= -1/10 - 1/3

= (-3- 10)/30

= - 13 /30

Hence L.H.S = R.H.S
