rhs = (x+y) (x²-xy+y²)
=x(x²-xy+y²)+y(x²-xy+y²)
= x³-x²y+xy²+x²y-xy²+y³
after cancellation
=x³+y3
=lhs
1) if x= 1, y=2
lhs = 1³+2³=1+8 =9---(1)
rhs = (x+y)(x²-xy+y²)
=(1+2)(1²-1*2+2²)
=3*(1-2+4)
=3*3
=9---(2)
lhs = rhs

x³-y³= (x-y)(x²+xy+y²)

RHS..

(x-y)(x²+xy+y²)

x(x²+xy +y²)-y(x²+xy+y²)

x³+x-y-xy²-x²y-y³

x³-y³.

LHS=RHS

Hence verified..

Hope it helps you
