area of triangle =1/2(X1(y2-y3)+X2(y3-y1)+X3(y1-y2)

given,

(a,a+c), (a,c) ,(-a,c-a)

area of triangle =1/2(a(c-c+a))+a(c-a-a-c)+(-a)(a+c-c)

1/2(a(a)+a(-2a)-a(a))

=-a2
