VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION
1 what will happen if something goes faster than light
some of u might say accord to Einstein nothing is faster than light but he said it for vacumm only
2 why it we go at 90 percent light speed distance between 2 object reduce
like
a distance from earth to an observer is 10000000km
while for person sitting on air craft its only 10000 km why this question is based on time dilation and special theory of relativity
3 newton said velocity is relative
but Maxwell said light is always at velocity 3×10^8 in vacumm how
thanks

Okk if we take speed of light or more than speed of light there time wil be constant and then we may able to go in 4th or 5th dimensions

1. As an object approaches the speed of light, its mass rises precipitously. If an object tries to travel 186,000 miles per second, its mass becomes infinite, and so does the energy required to move it. For this reason, no normal object can travel as fast or faster than the speed of light
2.The rate of time dilation depends on the relative velocity between observers. The difference in amount of time experienced between the 2 observers would depend on the rate of TD over the distance traveled.
For example: If Jane left Earth at 90% of the speed of light(.9c) and traveled to a star 10 light years away, then reversed and returned to Earth still at .9c:
From Earth, time of trip would be (10+10) / .9 = 22.23 years
For Jane, time of trip would be (22.23 years / 2.3 time dilation factor) = 9.66 years.
At 99.99% c the time dilation factor 70.71:
From Earth, time of trip would be (10+10) / .9999 = 20.01 years
