Cyclone is a tropical storm with winds blowing in large spiral around a relatively calm center known as 'eye'. It is formed over warm water. The eye can extend up to 50 Km and the hurricane may extend outward by hundreds of kilometer.

Answer:

In meteorology, a cyclone is a large scale air mass that rotates around a strong center of low atmospheric pressure, counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere as viewed from above. Cyclones are characterized by inward spiraling winds that rotate about a zone of low pressure.
