Explanation:

ans 1..Plants don't eat food; they have to create it for themselves. They do this through a process known as photosynthesis. Photosynthesis uses water, carbon dioxide from the air and energy from the sun or another light source to create glucose or sugar. This glucose provides the energy the plant needs in order to survive.

part 2.

Chlorophyll is a green coloured pigment present in the leaves of plants. It helps in absorbing energy from sunlight during the process of photosynthesis.

Answer: Photosynthesis is the process where plants being autotrophs prepare it's own food with the help of sunlight, water, nutrients from soil, carbon dioxide, chlorophyll etc

it is essential for the plants as it helps that plant to survive since it is through this process that plant prepares it's own food

Chlorophyll is vital for photosynthesis, which allows plants to absorb energy from light.
