Given

f(x) = 4x² - 8kx - 9

Let , one zero be x and the other be (-x)

We know that

sum of the zeroes = (-b) /a

=> x + (-x) = -(-8k)/4

=> x - x = 8k/4

=> 0 = 2k

=> k = 0

So, the value of k = 0
