Children's Day, also named Bal Divas is celebrated on the '14th November' every year in India, on the occasion of the birthday of our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru. Nehru shared an affectionate bond with children and is called as Chacha Nehru by most of the children. Today we all are gathered here to celebrate Children's Day in the honour of Pandit Nehru. There are various programmes prepared by the students that they would like to present before the audience. So, I welcome you all to enjoy the performances and also would like to take this moment to thank you all for coming in the celebrations.
