Answer:

let the consecutive multiples of 8 be x , x+ 8 and x +16

A/Q

x + x + 8 + x + 16 = 888

3x +24 = 888

3x = 888-24

3x = 864

x = 864÷3

x = 288

thus the multiples are 288 , 296 , 304

Answer:

8x+(8x+1)+(8x–1) = 8x+8x+8x+1–1 = 888

24x= 888

x = 888/24

x = 34

Therefore the multiples are 34,33&35
