 {100x}^{2}  - 20x + 1 \\  =  {100}^{2}  - 10x - 10x + 1 \\  = 10(10x - 1) - 1(10x - 1) \\  = (10x - 1)(10x - 1) \\  =  {(10x - 1)}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

100 \times 2 - 20x = 0 \\ 200 - 20x  + 1 = 0 \\ 201 - 20x = 0 \\  - 20x =  - 201 \\ x =  \frac{201}{20}  \\ alternate \: form \:   \\ x = 10 \times \frac{1}{20} ,x = 10.05
