ANSWER

2x - 7y = 7 -------(1)

3x + y = 22

=> 21x + 7y = 154 -------(2)

On adding equation 1 and 2, we get

23x = 161

=> x = 7

Now,

On substituting the value of x in equation 1, we get

2(7) - 7y = 7

=> 14 - 7y = 7

=> 7 = 7 y

=> y = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

2x−7y=7 __(1) , 3x+y=22×7

⇒21x+7y=154 __(2)

Adding (1) and (2)

2x−7y=7

21x+7y=154

______________

23x=161

x=7

2x−7y=7

2×7−7y=7

7y=14−7

y=1

∴x=7,

y=1____________this ?
