Given:-

  • a=3
  • d=2

To Find:-

  • a_10\:and\:a_n

Solution:-

We know that

a_10=a+9d

\impliesa_10 =3+9\left(2\right)

\impliesa_10 = 3+18

\impliesa_10 =21

Now

We also know that

a_n =a+\left(n-1\right)d

\impliesa_n =3+\left(n-1\right)2

\impliesa_n =3+2n-2

\impliesa_n =1+2n

Answers:-

  • a_10 =21
  • a_n =1+2n
