1 ) Holozoic Nutrition is the mode of nutrition in which the food is taken in solid or liquid form from the outside and is digested inside the body. the steps involved holozoic nutrition are ingestion ,digestion ,absorption ,assimilation and egestion.
2 ) Nutrition in an Amoeba occurs through a process called phagocytosis where the entire organism pretty much engulfs the food it plans on eating up. The mode of nutrition in amoeba is known as holozoic nutrition. It involves the ingestion, digestion and egestion of food material.
3 ) The human digestive system consists of the gastrointestinal tract plus the accessory organs of digestion (the tongue, salivary glands, pancreas, liver, and gallbladder). Digestion involves the breakdown of food into smaller and smaller components, until they can be absorbed and assimilated into the body.
4 ) Respiration is the process by which energy is released from food in our body. The function of respiratory system is to breathe in oxygen for respiration producing energy from food, and to breathe out carbon dioxide. Gases exchanged are oxygen and carbon dioxide.
5 ) Incisors are the teeth that you use to bite into your food. Canines - Your canines are the next teeth that develop in your mouth. You have four of them and they are your sharpest teeth, used for tearing apart food. Premolars - Premolars are used for tearing and crushing food.
