Answer:

1. life cycle :life cycle is a series of changes in form that an organism undergoes, returning to the starting state.

life span : the period of time between the birth and death of an organism.

2.Aquatic habitat : Is a habitat with water. It includes areas that are permanently covered by water and surrounding areas that are occasionally covered by water. Estuaries, rivers, and marshes are examples of aquatic habitats.

terrestrial habitat : are ones that are found on land, like forests, grasslands, deserts, shorelines, and wetlands. Terrestrial habitats also include man made habitats, like farms, towns, and cities, and habitats that are under the earth, like caves and mines.

3.Hydrophytes :

A plant that grows wholly or partly submerged in water. Because they have less need to conserve water, hydrophytes often have a reduced cuticle and fewer stomata than other plants.

Xerophytes :

any plant adapted to life in a dry or physiologically dry habitat (salt marsh, saline soil, or acid bog) by means of mechanisms to prevent water loss or to store available water. Succulents (plants that store water) such as cacti and agaves have thick, fleshy stems or leaves.

4.Amphibious habitat :

those organisms live on land as well as in water. Eg : Bryophytes.

arboreal habitat : are the places in trees where organisms are able to live and feed.

5. Excretion:

Excretion is the process of removing wastes and excess water from the body. It is one of the major ways the body maintains homeostasis. Organs of excretion make up the excretory system. They include the kidneys, large intestine, liver, skin, and lung.

respiration : respiration is the movement of oxygen from the outside environment to the cells within tissues, and the transport of carbon dioxide in the opposite direction.

Explanation:

Respiration is a chemical reaction that takes glucose (sugar) and oxygen to produce energy. But it also produces water and carbon dioxide as bi-products. Excretion gets rid of carbon dioxide, water, and other, possibly harmful, substances from your body.
