Answer:

1.Arteries are blood vessels responsible for carrying oxygen-rich blood away from the heart to the body. Veins are blood vessels that carry blood low in oxygen from the body back to the heart for reoxygenation.

2.These root hairs are in contact with the water already present in the soil. The water enters the plant root hair by the process of osmosis. The osmosis is the process of movement of water from the region of high concentration to the region of low concentration via semi-permeable membrane.

3.Blood Basics. Blood is a specialized body fluid. It has four main components: plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Blood has many different functions, including: transporting oxygen and nutrients to the lungs and tissues.

4.the human heart is divided into four chambers . the upper two chambers are called right and left atrium. and the lower two chambers are called the right and left ventricle. the left atrium receives the oxygenated blood from the lungs via the pulmonary vein.

5.Vascular system, in plants, assemblage of conducting tissues and associated supportive fibres. Xylem tissue transports water and dissolved minerals to the leaves, and phloem tissue conducts food from the leaves to all parts of the plant.

1. Arteries carry oxygenated blood and veins carry Deoxygenated blood
2. Plants absorb water from the soil by osmosis. They absorb mineral ions by active transport, against the concentration gradient. Root hair cells are adapted for taking up water and mineral ions by having a large surface area to increase the rate of absorption.
3 . It has four main components: plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
