Answer:

Explanation:

1. Given :-

Mass of body = 400 g

or, 0.4 kg

g = 10m/s²

Height = 4 m

Answer:-16 j

Solution:-

Gravitational potential energy:- The energy possessed by a body due to height above from the surface of earth is called gravitational potential energy.

The formula of gravitational potential energy is given by :-GPE = mgh

Now, put the given value

GPE = mgh

          4/10* 10 *4

         =4*4

        =16

hence, gravitational potential energy is 16j.

2. k.e= 1/2*m*v^2

       = 1/2* 0.5* 5^2

      = 6.25 J

work done= 6.2 J

3. k.e= 1/2*m*v^2

       = 1/2 *50* 25^2

      = 15625 J
