\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

=>x²-3x+1=(x-2)²

How to solve :

step 1:First step is to opening the brackets and expanding the terms both sides .

Step2:Making Variable term together and constant term together.

Step3:Then ,let the variable alone and shifts all the constant to the constant side

Identity used here :

(a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab

here ,(x-2)² is in the form of (a-b)² so,apply identity here,

=>x²-3x+1= x²+(2)²-2(x)(2)

=>x²-3x+1=x²+4-4x

Here,we see that x² lies on both sides so,it gets automatically cancelled.

=>-3x+1=4-4x

Now, arranging the terms making like terms together:

=> -3x+4x=4-1

=>x= 3

We get x=3

Check:

Taking LHS

=>x²-3x+1

=>(3)²-3(2)+1

=>9-9+1

=>0+1=1

Taking RHS

=>(x-2)²

=>(3-2)²

=>(1)²=1

Hence,LHS = RHS (Verified)
