SP for Arun. = (1-r/100)*CP

= (1-5/100)*Rs.28x/25

= 24/25*Rs.28x/25

= Rs. 6x/7

SP for Arun = CP for Manoj

CP for Manoj= Rs.6x/7

But the given CP for Manoj is Rs.3990.

Rs.6x/7. = Rs.3990

Rs.x. = Rs.3990*7/6

= Rs. 4655

Ans.= Vinod paid Rs.4655 for the watch.
