Question :-

→ Victor wants to make a book tower of height 48cm If the thickness of each book is 12mm, how many books will he need to make the desired height.

Given :-

→ Total length of tower = 48 cm

→ Thickness of each book = 12 mm

To Find :-

No. of books needed to make the tower

Solution :-

→ Firstly we will convert the total length of tower in mm

→ As we know that

{\boxed{\underline{\underline{1cm \; =\; 10mm}}}}}

\sf 1 cm = 10 mm\\\\48 cm = 48 \times 10 mm \\\\= 480 mm\\

→ Now ,

\sf No. \; of\;books\;needed\;=\; \dfrac{Total\;length\;of\;tower}{Thickness\;of\;each\;book}

\sf = \dfrac{480}{12}

\sf = 40 \; books

He, will need 40 books ! :D
