i.e  2 d + 18 = v + 9

Or,   v - 2 d = 9                    .........2

Solving eq 1 and 2

3 d - 2 d = 9

Or,   d = 6  years

So, The age of David = d = 6 years

Put the value of d in eq 1

∴  v = 3 × 6

i.e  v = 18 years

So, The age of Victor = v = 18 years

Hence, The Age of Victor is 18 years
