Vidhya bhartee schools starts at 10:30am. And is over at 4:15pm. If there are two recess periods of 15 min and 30 min respectively ,find the ratio of the recess time to total lesson time of the schools.

total time = 5:45 hrs.
recess : 15+30=45mins
5:45 - 45 = 5 hrs.
Ratio = 45÷ 5hrs
5hrs = 5×60 = 300mins.
Ratio = 45÷300
=3÷50
= 3:50
total time = 5:45 hrs.
