Total water in bottle =5ltr

2/5 of 5ltr =2 litres this quantity taken by vidya

Vidya consume 2/5 of water then remaining =1-2/5= (5-2)/5=3/5

This part must be taken by pratap so he take 3/5 of total water.

We have total water 5ltr

And fraction Given 2/5 (water consumed by vidya)

So diving the 5ltr in 5 parts
1 part =1ltr

If 2 part is consumed by vidya then 3 will be by pratap

Vidya =2 part =2ltr
