"Our elderly: the real torch bearers" (View)
Good morning everyone present. I am going to expatiate on "Our elderly: the real torch bearers". Undoubtedly, our elderly are the real torch bearers almost in every filed. They are the ones who teach us how to live life optimally. They guide us out of their experience gathered over years of living wisely and cautiously. They teach us the difference between the right and wrong. They take all the pains to solve our problems.
We are living in a far freer, more prosperous, and more comfortable world. It is because our elders made it so. Let’s first talk of freedom. If our elders would not have launched freedom struggle movements to free our country from slavery, do you think we could be as free as we are now? Our elders such as Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and many more, sacrificed their everything to free our motherland from the clutches of the British.
After the freedom, our country had little development, infrastructure, and was backward in almost all areas; then our elderly worked day and night to create the basic infrastructure such as dams, roads, educational institutes, industries, agriculture, commerce, science and technology, hospitals, etc. As a result we got almost all the facilities.
The truth is our elderly have done everything to lay the foundations of a great nation. Now, it is our responsibility to carry the torch they bequeathed us to the coming generations.
Let’s do the greater work waiting to be done. Let’s be the worthy followers of our great elders.
