We have deep respect for elderly and cherish their loving presence where I wouldn’t explain them as ‘torch bearers'.

During their time they had faced odds and carved pathways through hurdles.

One have to agree that present is not past.

Elders are not in tune with present days.

Unable to match with changing world.

Elders are stubborn and not willing to try new things.

They insistent upon imposing their will upon others.

In the country of India where most of us live with our grandparents and parents we know that they are the torchbearers of our life.

Despite the old age our preceding generations have adapted very well to the changing times and have also brought about changes in our lives.

With elders in our house there is no problem which we have to bear alone we also have their support and guidance that helps us to rise like a phoenix rising from ashes.

Hence it is safe to say that the elders play a major role in shaping us who we are right now.
