Answer:

Since the house is 11ft high, we'll consider this as height of all 3 rooms.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of 4 walls= Perimeter of the the room × Height of room.

Perimeter of room=2(l+b)

(a)

Area of walls of first room= 2(10+10) × 11= 440ft²

Area of walls of second room= 2(10+12) × 11= 484ft²

Area of walls of third room= 2(14+16.5) × 11= 671ft²

(b)

Cost of colouring first room= 440 × 12.35= Rs.5434

Cost of colouring second room= 484 × 12.35= Rs. 5977.4

Cost of colouring third room= 671 × 12.35= Rs. 8286.85

(c)

Volume of first room= 10×10×11= 110ft³

Volume of second room= 10×12×11= 1320ft³

Volume of third room= 14×16.5×11= 2541ft³

Hope it helps!
