Green revolution has increased the produce of crops rapidly than it is available in any other century. It helped the farmers to increase their produce. and the Green Revolution is very necessary as our population go on increasing if there is no green revolution then there will be not enough any food grains.

The enormous increase in the production of food grains (especially wheat, rice maize,etc ) during the last three decades, due to use of seeds

of Hyv- (high yield varietie seeds,) higher dose of fertilizers and pesticides and irrigation is known as green revolution.

In other words we say that the main aim of green revolution is to increase and to improve the production of food grains is called green revolution.
