Answer:

The Central Vigilance Commission has decided to observe the vigilance awareness week from October 27 to November 2 this year with the theme "Vigilant India, Prosperous India", an official order said.

In addition, the Commission has asked all government organisations to focus on internal (housekeeping) activities which are to be taken up in campaign mode as part of the vigilance awareness week, it said.

The probity watchdog has issued guidelines for government departments to carry out such internal activities, including inspection of relevant records, disposal of complaints pending for over six months and finalisation of minor and major penalty among others.

Answer:

India, officially the Republic of India (Hindi: Bhārat Gaṇarājya), is a country in South Asia. It is the second-most populous country, the seventh-largest country by land area, and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal on the southeast, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west; China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north; and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; its Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia.
